In October, many Amazon accounts were suspended for not submitting the Bescheinigung nach 22f document on time, which can be obtained when registered for German VAT. Many accounts were suspended despite having no legal obligation to register for German VAT. For such sellers, Amazon requires a declaration acknowledging that they have reviewed the German tax registration requirements.
The declaration is made by clicking “I acknowledge” on this page:

Contrary to what you might think, many sellers haven’t done this, and the option to acknowledge German tax requirements is still active for them.
Therefore, if your Amazon account was suspended and your Amazon turnover wasn’t close to 100,000 EURO, and you didn’t specify a product location address in Germany, first check this link:
If you can click “I acknowledge”, do it.
In the vast majority of cases, your account will be reactivated within 12-48 hours.
Unfortunately, the situation becomes complicated when you see this message at the indicated link:
German Tax Declaration
You have no pending actions as of now.

In this situation, if the seller truly hasn’t met any conditions requiring German VAT registration, the case needs to be resolved individually. If the account suspension was due to Amazon’s mistake, you need to contact Amazon and document your case.
In such a situation, you can count on my help.
However, it’s worth considering whether your turnover was high enough that the registration requirement would appear soon anyway, and in that case, simply apply for German VAT. I don’t recommend handling German VAT registration on your own, as German tax offices try hard to discourage Polish companies from registering, but rather entrust this task to a proven accounting firm.
A German VAT number and Bescheinigung nach 22f give Polish sellers great opportunities to improve sales on both Amazon and eBay. Products can be shipped from Germany, significantly reducing the delivery time shown in FBM listings. Sellers can also switch to the FBA shipping model and transfer delivery responsibility to Amazon, focusing instead on offer promotion and improving Amazon listing quality.
On eBay, thanks to German VAT registration and the ability to ship from Germany, we not only reduce delivery time but can also use eBay Plus for our listings, which significantly improves sales.
